Troubleshooting checklist: When you need judgement-oriented checklists, you can use troubleshooting checklists. These lists are less technical in nature. Suppose, the engine of your car is not starting. There is a list of probable causes in the list, and you need to check out these factors to ensure that the car will get started. A troubleshooting checklist is commonly used when there is a problem regarding your work, and you want to fix the trouble by going through the list. It has to be based on your judgment.
Then, the list templates assure better productivity- after completing each task, you can tick it off on the list and this prevents the hassles of repetitive works. Finally, the checklists also motivate you to work enthusiastically for the event or project ahead through its list of tasks before you.
It always helps if you know by heart the items you have to buy or the steps you have to follow while carrying out a particular task. That way, you can use the checklist as a guideline and refer to it when you’ve forgotten something. Before inserting the details into the template, make a list of the steps or items in your mind. Then start arranging them one by one on the template.
